The Computing Brain

The brain is a supercomputer. Or maybe it isn’t?

In this blog I give my thoughts about the human brain and computers - both similarities and differences. Mainly I will try to answer the question “Is the brain a computer?” using Computer Science, NeuroBiology (Cognitive Science), NeuroPsychology (Cognitive Psychology), and any other tool that may come along, including of course many philosophical arguments (a serious-sounding name for “claims I can’t back up but really want to write anyway”).

I assume I will also occasionally drop in tidbits of information from loosely related fields, but I’ll just have to see how things go along. Enjoy
